"I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”
― Brené Brown
Images mean different things to different people. At Creative Explorations we have sessions with people and explore images and what these images mean to you personally. We call it Creative Conversations. Images can resonate and help people explore their own personal memories. What is a positive memory for some people might be a negative memory for another person.
Creative Conversations allows people to explore what images mean to them. This type of exploration can provide awareness, insight, a different perspective and healing. By sharing your stories, you also become aware of your own unique history. Storytelling and walks down memory lane can help people feel better, feel more at peace with themselves and their lives.
Expressive Arts helps individuals move towards greater awareness, awaken creativity, increase joy, cultivate self-care, compassion and wholeness.
These sessions were created to help people and improve their sense of happiness and soul connection through creative engagement. The expressive arts can provide insight, meaning and a greater sense of peace and connection.
Creative Yoga & Movement
Ann Marie offers a unique experience to help you find peace and connection within your own body, mind and spirit. When we take time for ourselves and our bodies we feel more relaxed and nourished. These sessions allow you to move with awareness and to begin and continue to listen to our bodies in a new way. We explore movement and mindfulness to music. No previous training or athletic ability is expected or required.
Come take some time to feel present in your body and move at your own pace and your own rhythm. This is about taking time for yourself, connecting with your body perhaps in a new way that is more about listening, quieting down and connecting. The session starts out with gentle stretching which helps with flexibility and from there we explore movement which allows us to to quiet down the body and mind and this results in increased awareness and feeling centered and grounded in your body in a way that is different from fitness and athletic training.
